ADI Leads Taiwan Cybersecurity Industry to Thailand, Deepen Collaboration and Launch Local Service Hub

In an effort to strengthen cybersecurity collaboration between Taiwan and Thailand, the Administration for Digital Industries (ADI) under the Ministry of Digital Affairs led a cybersecurity delegation to Bangkok from August 4 to 7, 2025. The delegation hosted the second “Taiwan Cybersecurity Day” during this visit.

The delegation was led by Chief Secretary Ming-Huei Tung and included representatives from the Post-Quantum Cryptography Cybersecurity Industry Alliance (PQC-CIA), the Taiwan Information Service Industry Association (TISA), and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), along with eight leading Taiwanese cybersecurity companies—CHT Security, CyCraft Technology, Lydsec Digital Technology, Openfind Information Technology, PacketX Technology, SkyCloud Computing, and WebComm Technology. During the Taiwan Cybersecurity Day event, ADI officially launched the SECPAAS Thailand Service Hub, located at the National Telecom (NT) Service Center, which provides Thai-language technical consultation and on-site support through local system integrators.

The delegation also participated in the “PKI D-DAY” Forum organized by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA). At this forum, Taiwanese experts Wei-Bin Lee, Convener of PQC-CIA, and Wei-Chung Hwang, Deputy Director of ITRI, presented advancements in post-quantum cryptography and digital signature solutions. Additionally, the delegation visited AMATA Corporation and BAYCOMS to explore cooperation opportunities in industrial cybersecurity.  The four-day agenda included exhibitions, matchmaking, and networking to deepen collaboration between the Taiwan and Thai cybersecurity industries.

Building on the success of 2024, ITRI and NT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance cybersecurity technology exchange and localized service collaboration. With Taiwan’s strengths in zero-trust architecture, AI-driven cyber defense, and post-quantum encryption, ADI continues to expand into ASEAN markets, reinforcing Taiwan’s position as a key player in the global cybersecurity supply chain.
