"2025 UNEXT Achievement Showcase x Career Matchmaking & MOU Signing" Connecting Industry and Talent – U Are The Next to Co-create a New Digital Future
On November 20, the Administration for Digital Industries (ADI) of Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) hosted the "2025 Digital Innovation Talent Career Matchmaking & Achievement Showcase × AI Industry Talent Guideline x MOU Signing Ceremony" at Taipei New Horizon.
The event focused on three key themes: showcasing talent development achievements, career matchmaking with leading companies, and signing memorandum of understanding (MOU) to support talent development. It highlighted the impressive results of interns from the UNEXT Digital Innovation Talent Development Program; it marked a milestone for Taiwan's AI talent ecosystem, with MOUs signed with three leading talent-matching platforms: 1111 Job Bank, Yourator and Cake. Overall, it demonstrates ADI's commitment and proactive efforts in cultivating AI talent.
Groundbreaking Development in AI Talent Matching
As a part of this initiative, ADI joined forces with 1111 Job Bank, Yourator and Cake to expand the cooperative ecosystem. AI-related job postings will gradually be aligned with talent categories and skill types based on the AI Industry Talent Recognition Guideline, helping companies more precisely match the right talent to their needs. As the competent authority of the Electronic Signature Act in Taiwan, ADI also adopted electronic signatures, facilitated through "DottedSign" by a local e-signature service provider KDAN. This demonstrates a concrete example of public–private cooperation in advancing digital applications and administrative innovation.
Minister Yi-Jing Lin of the MODA stated that the AI Industry Talent Recognition Guideline was designed to provide a common framework for Taiwan's AI talent demand, training institutions, and certification bodies. This goal is to build a sustainable AI talent ecosystem to meet Taiwan's growing need for AI professionals.
The updated version expands emerging competency domains, incorporating Robotic Process Automation (RPA) topics, and adds recommended training hours and corresponding skill competency levels. Through the signing of MOUs, the principle of "standardize AI talent, and informed talent selection " will be effectively implemented. By following the talent recognition guideline, companies can more clearly identify the skills and qualities required for their AI workforce.
Going forward, Taiwan's government will leverage job vacancy data and trend observations from three talent-matching platforms to continuously monitor changes in AI job openings and industry needs. This will ensure policies to support industrial development in a more timely and precise manner.
UNEXT Interns Achieve Remarkable Results; Career Matchmaking Boosts Industry Recruitment
ADI further emphasized that the UNEXT Digital Innovation Talent Development Program aims to cultivate emerging digital talents with practical skills and real-world applications. Through a training–matchmaking–hands-on internship mechanism, the program strengthens interns' problem-solving and soft skills, preparing them to become immediate contributors in the digital industry.
The event also featured the inaugural "UNEXT Talent Impact Internship Excellence Award," recognizing interns who translated their digital skills and internship experiences into tangible results. Outstanding interns were recognized for their professional achievements and growth. Meanwhile, to acknowledge the 19 partner internship organizations that participated in the program this year, ADI presented "UNEXT Digital Talent Development Partner" certificates and trophies, honoring their excellent contributions to nurturing digital talent.
The event also incorporated the UNEXT Digital Career Matchmaking Fair, bringing together over 20 companies for on-site recruitment. Through interviews, resume submissions, and HR consultations, the event facilitated precise connections between talent and industry.
Cross-sector Collaboration to Co-Create the Most Impactful AI Talent Ecosystem
With AI technology evolving rapidly, ADI will continue collaborating with inter-ministerial agencies and with private training institutions, certification bodies, and talent-matching platforms to build a more robust and comprehensive cooperative ecosystem.
